LAMA Committee Form

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee reviews nomination packets and selects recipients for these annual awards: Charles River Medallion, U. Kristina Stephens and William O. Umiker.

Publications Committee
The Publications Committee is responsible for publishing the LAMA Review, and posting updated information on the website.

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee consists of members throughout the country and internationally to serve as point persons for membership recruitment.

Policies and Procedures Committee
The Policies and Procedures Committee is responsible for keeping the LAMA Leadership Manual current by incorporating any changes approved by the Board of Directors.

CMAR Committee
The CMAR Committee is a joint entity with AALAS. Three members are from each organization. This group oversees all aspects of the CMAR designation.

Financial Oversight Committee
This committee oversees the financial management of LAMA to include: financial policies, performance monitoring, budgeting, and investment policy.

Program, Education and Training Committee
The Program, Education and Training Committee develops and supervises learning opportunities for the membership. Special emphasis is given to the LAMA/ATA annual meeting.

Public Relations Committee
The Public Relations Committee makes information available to the membership and the general public about the Association, management issues and the field of laboratory animal care and use.

Education and Training Committee
The Education and Training Committee oversees all educational activities of LAMA outside of the LAMA/ATA annual meeting.

Website Development Committee
This Committee develops content for the LAMA website: www.lama-online.org.
