The Laboratory Animal Management Association held a meeting and educational seminar on May 1-3, 2002, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on Disaster Planning and Management in Laboratory Animal Research Facilities, Entitled "Earth, Wind and Fire: Avoiding Blood, Sweat and Tears".  This meeting brought together experts in disaster preparedness and response with institutional representatives who have experienced natural disasters in laboratory animal facilities.

This site has synopsized and organized each presentation and information discussed at the meeting to create a succinct web based resource including links to relevent primary Federal and non-federal resources.
